About this role
Take ownership of the sandwich and kitchen section Prepare gourmet sandwiches, grilled sandwiches, wraps, and related items independently Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation Manage mise-en-place and maintain ingredient freshness throughout the shift Work with fresh vegetables, proteins, sauces, breads, and house-made spreads Contribute ideas for new sandwich combinations, fillings, sauces, and menu improvements Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times Support the kitchen team during peak hours and rush periods Assist with inventory handling and minimizing wastage Take part in pop-ups at offices and residential communities, representing The Salad House while engaging with customers
Requirements
Experience as a DCDP, CDP or commis in cafés, QSRs, sandwich bars, cloud kitchens, or restaurants Strong understanding of sandwich preparation, grilling, assembly, and plating Knowledge of sauces, spreads, breads, and ingredient pairings Ability to work fast while maintaining quality and consistency Must be a team player, disciplined, and quick learner Must follow hygiene and kitchen SOPs strictly
